Short History
Cambrian Solvents Limited (formerly known as Confederate Chemicals) was founded in 1975 by two chemists with years of experience in speciality chemicals. In 1979 the company relocated to a purpose built 9,000 square foot factory in Mid Wales. Facilities include: internal mixing gantries, external tank farm, chemical racking and storage areas, specialist acid handling plant and balanced interceptor tanks. New management acquired the majority share holding in November 2014. We remain a small, focused business. The team has recently been expanded with additional investment in chemistry and operational capabilities.
